Letter "S" and Months of the Year

We talked about the letter "S" last week and we started a Word Wall.  The kids did a great job thinking of "S" words.  We sing the Letter Factory Song, which goes like this. 
S says ssss. S says ssss. Every letter makes a sound S says sssss. 
You might even start hearing them sing this. (:  Ask your child if they remember some of our "S" words.  They came up with some great "S" words.

One of our friends saw our months of the year and noticed September and got so excited that it was an "S" word.  It was one of those times that I LOVE being a teacher because the kids just get it!!  (: 

We are singing a Months of the Year song and hoping we'll have it down by the end of the year for our program!  I think we can do it! (;  The tune is to Ten Little Indians.

January, February, March and April, May, June, July, August and September.  October, November and December, 12 months of the year.
