1st Day of School 2017-2018

We're back!!
 The teachers are so excited to see our returning students along with our new students.  Our blog is a great way to see what's happening at school. We try hard to take pictures each day. However, sometimes we are having so much fun that we forget to take pictures.  

We each got to find a spot on our carpet for our opening (ask your child which letter or shape they chose). The students did a good time sitting in their spot and listening to directions. 

Here are a few pictures from the first day of school.

First Day of School

We had a wonderful first day.  We are so excited for the new school year and can't wait to see the children grow.  

Here are a few pictures of the first day.  

They are learning to use carpet mats at school.  If we are working on the floor, this is where we put our work.  All of the children are doing a great job stretching their arms out and carrying their carpet mats with two hands.  

Here is one of our friends working on spooning.  I love how determined she looks.  

She knows to fold her papers corner to corner and run her finger across it.

Here is a little girl working on our blocks where the insides come out.  She is being so careful not to step on her carpet mat.
